During the official visit of the President of Angola, João Lourenço, and an Angolan business delegation to Serbia, Telmed CEO Ivan Jurčić took part in the Serbia–Angola business meeting in Belgrade on 9 June 2026.
The meeting, held under the title “Serbia and Angola: From successful projects to new partnerships — 50 years of friendship and cooperation”, brought together more than 110 companies from both countries, followed by B2B meetings.
“I was proud to present TELMED and discuss how digital health, teleradiology, and AI can help improve access to healthcare across emerging markets. The conversations were productive, and I look forward to exploring concrete opportunities for collaboration.” — Ivan Jurčić, CEO, Telmed
Africa has always been at the heart of Telmed’s mission: it is the continent with the fewest radiologists per capita, and teleradiology lets hospitals there reach European specialists without waiting a decade for new radiologists to be trained.
